20 members and prospective member Halimo Ismail, including 9 attending via Zoom, heard Bill Bristow detail the campaign of he and his son Charlie Bristow since 2009 to raise money for autism charities through support of Charlie's efforts to combat the effects of his autism and scoliosis by playing golf. Through 2019 they have raised more than $35,000.00.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Secretary Bob Tholkes acknowledged thank-you's received from Columbia Heights STRIVE student Huda Elmi and the Dictionary Project, which noted that the club has to date distributed 6,000 dictionaries.

President Kelli Bourgeois announced that the club board will meet on October 7 at 9 a. m. at Fridley City Hall.

REMINDERS

Scott Lund reminded that more members are needed to attend the annual Charter Dinner on November 4.
