ANNOUNCEMENTS
Bourgeois announced that 23 members have responded to the survey emailed on July 3. If you have not, please respond by Friday. The survey will serve as the basis for a club goal-setting session on June 29.
Bourgeois suggests that the membership decide on mandating masks at the weekly breakfasts before the club board meeting of August 5. Send your feedback to her at KBourgeois@columbiaheightsmn.gov.
REMINDERS
Mark Grotewold reported that SACA is seeking volunteers to deliver groceries to seniors in our service area. Contact Mark at markandliz1952@yahoo.com if you can volunteer from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on a weekday to make deliveries. Two-person teams are requested. Scott Lund noted that the Fridley Lions Club volunteers for similar work through a Fridley organization.
Ways and means to distribute dictionaries this fall to 3rd-graders in our service area are being sought.
Enrollment of golfers for the Classic on August 31 has increased to 20. Approximately 60 are needed to cover expenses. The event website, fchgolfclassic.com, is up. Two additional sponsors have been obtained.
