Our New Meeting Site!
Central Mix community space and The Fixx Coffee Shop, 4030 Central Avenue, Columbia Heights, will be tried first as our new meeting site, beginning next week, Wednesday March 5.
For a guarantee of $100 per meeting, Central Mix will provide the meeting space, basic coffee service, a varied pastry tray, and will accept individual food and beverage orders (see menu below). Photos: TheCentralMix.com.
Parking at Central Mix: street parking on southbound Central Avenue between 41st Avenue and 40th Avenue; surface lot across Central Avenue; disused restricted surface parking and free parking ramp behind Central Mix entered from 40th Avenue, with alley and walkway access to the street door.
When entering the street door, order and pay for any extra food or beverages at the coffee shop counter and walk to the right through the meeting room doors and left down the short hallway to the large meeting room. Order pickup and the coffee and pastry tray provided will be in the meeting room.
The initial room setup decided on at the dry run today is of course tentative. Feel free to move chairs around. A settling-in period is anticipated for both the room setup and the available menu.
A restroom is located back through the coffee shop area.
