PROGRAM
14 members heard Brian Henneken, Director of Finance and Operations for Columbia Heights Public, Schools, describe the need for and scope of the request for an increase in the school district's Operating Levy to be voted on at the Nov. 7 referendum. The Operating Levy, he pointed out, was last increased in 2005, and that the district compares poorly in Operating Levy revenue with neighboring and similar districts in the metro area. Renewal of the existing Capital Projects levy is also on the referendum.
