92 golfers, attended by a bevy of FCH member volunteers, made a social, sporting, and (hopefully) financial success of the 13th annual Golf Classic fundraiser in clement summer weather at The Refuge Golf Course and Wedding Venue in Oak Grove Township yesterday, which replaced the scheduled breakfast meeting. Former members Erik Johnston and Craig Malm were among the golfers welcomed. The Refuge’s usual excellent dinner and President Paul Nealy’s concluding thanks and remarks topped off the day.
The financial results from sponsorships, participant fees, silent auction sales, and purchases of donated gift certificates finance the club’s annual donation programs.
